Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited: Gujarat man killed by robbers in Mexico | India Newsworld news



A 38-year-old executive of Ahmedabad-headquartered Torrent Pharmaceuticals Limited was killed by armed assailants during a robbery bid in Mexico City, reports Niyati Parikh.
Ketan Shah was shot dead on August 19, sources said, adding that the assailants took away $10,000 in cash he was carrying. He was accompanied by his father, who sustained injuries. Shah had been on deputation in Mexico City since May 2019.Shah is survived by his wife and two children.
Authorities in Mexico have launched an investigation into the incident. Indian embassy said its officials were in touch with the agencies to apprehend the culprits.
