Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged on May 13 at Kapurthala house in New Delhi in the presence of their loved ones. And if the reports are to be believed, the couple will be tying the knot next month. Ahead of her wedding, Parineeti opened up about her idea of love which is inspired by her parents Pawan Chopra and Reena Chopra.
Speaking to Bridal Asia Magazine, Parineeti said that the only love she knows and understand is the love between her parents.”To me, love means undying loyalty, standing by each other in the tough times, and most importantly, the absolute freedom to be yourself,” she said.
She further added, “For me, real feelings are what matter, not crazy gestures. I always wanted a person who would be downright real with me.”Prior to their engagement, both Parineeti and Raghav had maintained silence on their relationship. The two reportedly knew each other for several years before they began dating.
Later, the couple was also seen scouting for locations for weddings in Udaipur, hinting that they will follow in her cousin Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas‘ footsteps and tie the knot in a lavish wedding in Rajasthan.
According to the reports, Parineeti and Raghav have finalised their wedding date, and they are expected to get married on September 25. After the wedding, the couple are expected to host a grand reception in Gurugram.
