The left side of his body had become unresponsive. Though a surgery was done, he continued to be critical. He finally succumbed a few days ago. Ruthvik’s friend B Shyam had set up a GoFundMe page for donations to pay for Ruthvik’s treatment. From 1,200 people who contributed, $57,000 dollars was raised out of a target of $200,000.
In an update on the page on Feb 23, Shyam said: “The update about Ruthvik was delayed considering the health conditions of his close family members in India. With heavy hearts, we share the sombre news of Ruthvik’s passing. Ruthvik was in post-surgery observation battling for his life.
