Skoda Auto India showcases Skoda Kushaq Explorer Edition and announces plans for new compact SUV |WORLD NEWS

The Kushaq Explorer Edition features a matte green paint scheme with orange highlights on the grille, front bumper, rear spoiler and side body cladding. The grille, wing mirrors and badges also get a contrasting blacked-out finish. The SUV also features two tow hooks at the front and rear, roof rails, an LED light bar on the roof, and blacked-out badging. Another highlight is the blacked-out 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped up with 215/65 section off-road A/T rugged tyres.

Moving inside, the overall dashboard layout is the same as the regular kushaq but it gets a matte green paint theme with black seats with contrast red piping. The special edition It carries over all equipment from the regular Kushaq which includes a 10.25-touchscreen, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, sunroof and more. Additionally, the Explorer Edition gets a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, a head-up display, rear sunshades and an air purifier.

Talking about the engine and gearbox, the Explorer Edition is powered by the same 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which puts out 148bhp of power and 250Nm of torque. Transmission options could include a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
