South Korean carmaker Daewoo returns to India, will sell four-wheeler batteries: DetailsWORLD NEWS



South Korean carmaker Daewoo with a 50-year legacy and a presence in 110 countries, is making a notable comeback in the Indian automotive market, however, this time as a four-wheeler battery manufacturer. The company has announced the launch of its automotive batteries designed for cars, trucks, tractors, and buses. These batteries will come with 48 months warranty (24 months free replacement and 24 months pro-Rata) and will be priced competitively from Rs 4,695.
The company says that its new range of batteries boast a durable construction for long-lasting use, vibration resistance for rough terrains, and a maintenance-free design. Additionally, the batteries are equipped with rapid recharge capabilities to reduce downtime and can operate efficiently in extreme temperatures, making them suitable for all-weather conditions.
Furthermore, the batteries feature Ca-Ca Silver+ technology with SMF/MF attributes, ensuring high power output and maintenance-free operation over an extended period.

Our batteries are made using premium materials, including pure lead, PP container lids, separators, and chemicals, making them ideal for India’s diverse weather conditions. With our expanded metal grid technology and low self-discharge rates, Daewoo batteries will set new standards in performance and reliability,” said HS Bhatia, Managing Director of Daewoo India.”
The Daewoo brand was once available in India, known for its popular models such as the Daewoo Matiz, Daewoo Nexia, and Daewoo Cielo.
